You Can’t Stop Losers From Being Losers

Following the tragic shooting deaths of two WDBJ employees by a disgruntled former coworker the gun control advocates are screaming for gun control. It wasn’t the gun that killed. The gun was a tool used by a perpetual victim who was a failure and who wanted to blame his failures on someone else.

If you read the resumes, references and remembrances of the victims you will find they were exceptional people.  Their premature deaths took something good from the world.  The murderer gained nothing except a few moments of infamy.

Part of the problem is that we (the press) make the loser famous for 15 minutes. For that reason I will only refer to the murderer of these two innocent people as Loser.

Loser blamed others for his failures. He blamed his race. He blamed his sexual preferences. He blamed everything but himself.

Apparently he never looked at his ability, his attitude or his lack of accomplishment.  His final choice of murdering two and wounding another superior person before ending his own life did nothing more than emphasize that he was a loser. Instead of only a few people knowing his shortcoming and failures, now they are plastered on TV screens and newspapers worldwide.

Even his final act documented his failure and lack of success.

He has gone from being an anonymous failure to a public failure. Unfortunately for him he will be forgotten; remembered only as a loser who killed two innocent talented superior people.  His victims will be remembered and honored. Thousands will mourn their loss.  The loser may have a few family members who will mourn what he could have been.

Like the victims of other massacres,   the victims will live in memories- the perpetrator forgotten.

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to prevent similar situations. The common denominators are a loser with mental issues who has a gun, knife or other weapon.  Although the tragedies where a gun is used get more press probably because the gun control nuts come out in droves, we see mass killings where the loser uses other weapons including automobiles and matches.

We cannot arrest potential murderers because we do not live and DO NOT WANT to live in a society where Big Brother can arrest us for thought crimes.

All we can do is live as we should. We cannot live in fear but there is nothing that can be done to prevent the losers from being losers.
