Tri-County Drug and Gang Task Force Conducts Search in Kenbridge

KENBRIDGE – On March 9, the Tri-County Drug and Gang Task Force (3V), conducted a search on a residence in the town of Kenbridge.  Assisting Task Force 3V were the Lunenburg County Sheriff’s Office, Kenbridge Police Department, and the Virginia State Police Bureau of Field Operations, Area 22.  The operation resulted in the seizure of 28 grams of cocaine valued at $2,800, 28 grams of marijuana valued at $280, 1 handgun valued at $150, and $2,013 in U.S. Currency. Al M. Williams of Kenbridge, Va. was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon at the scene.

Task Force 3V is comprised of narcotics investigators and Special Agents from the Charlotte and Lunenburg County Sheriff’s Offices and Virginia State Police.  Task Force 3V will continue this investigation.
