Three Injured in Single Vehicle Crash

Three passengers all over the age of 18 were injured in a single vehicle crash that occurred on Friday, August 8 on Highway 360 just one half mile west of Route 92.

Hartford Lee Williams, Jr. of Yanceyville, NC was traveling west on 360 at approximately 9:15 p.m. when he ran off the left side of the road and crossed the median into the eastbound lane, which resulted in the vehicle overturning.

Williams was traveling in a 1998 Ford Explorer and three passengers in the vehicle with him were injured in the accident.  According to State Police, the Ford Explorer sustained about $5,000 in damage and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

Williams was charged with reckless driving. Trooper Brian Meeks was the investigating officer in this incident.
