SVCC Recognized as Great College to Work For

Southside Virginia Community College participated in the Chronicle of Higher Education’s Great Colleges to Work For survey. SVCC employees (administrators, faculty, and staff) are randomly selected and surveyed.  For the fifth year in a row, Southside Virginia Community College was selected as one of this year’s Great Colleges to Work For®. Additionally, because SVCC was highly rated across several categories, the College was also named as a 2013 Honor Roll institution.

There are 12 recognition categories. Relative to other participating schools, SVCC employees rated the College high in the following categories:
