Stop LU and HSC From Spreading COVID-19

Anyone paying attention has noticed universities are closing their campuses due to spread of COVID-19 and implementing virtual classes.

The leaders at LU and H-SC have a plan which they have Not revealed to our community to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Rumors have it town council wants to restrict college crowds to maximum of 50. So, multiple groups of 50 students can party, go back to dorms, attend class, enter our grocery stores, businesses and restaurants.
Not going to work!

So, if you want to delay the spread of COVID-19, implement the following:

1) masks are mandatory on the streets of Farmville and in every store. Get a ticket if you do not comply.

2) Restaurants must socially distance their tables, bar areas must be closed. Closing at 10 p.m. makes sense to protect our community.

3) have student days/nights at grocery stores, so community can avoid the contact with students. We currently have seniors morning at Walmart, just an extension of that concept.

4) colleges conduct random COVID-19 tests at dorms, cafeterias, classes, etc. If someone tests positive send them home to isolate. Do not keep them on campus. Don’t forget to trace an infected person’s contacts.

5) H-SC has the ability to keep students on campus and let them off campus by controlling the number at any given time.

6) use HEPA filters in all AC systems.

7) citizens take responsibility, wear a mask and socially distance 6 feet.

These measures will delay the spread of COVID-19 and possibly save lives of our citizens.
