LUNENBURG – Following the closure of schools in the area, Lunenburg County Public Schools officials have been sending home packets of information and work for students, offering online communication sites as well as emailing and staying in touch with students that way.

The schools and Lunenburg County Public Library System also recently announced that there is WIFI available at their locations if people need to use this.

With essentially everyone having a computer, tablet or cell phone, one of the biggest issues is being able to look at online resources. Therefore, the four school locations have made WIFI available if you drive to one of the locations. Directions on how to use the WIFI through LCPS Guest Log In is on the website www.lunenburgcountyschools.org in the LCPS Coronavirus Information Center and under the Parents section on the menu. LCPS officials stated, “We hope that this will be helpful for our families!”

The Lunenburg County Public Library System also offered WIFI for anyone that may need it for work or school.

The library WIFI is on from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. in Victoria. The password is Guests23974 and you can use it sitting or parked in front of the library. At Kenbridge, the time is 8:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m. on Monday and 6 p.m. the rest of the week. The password is Guests23944. It can be picked up sitting in front of the library.

Please remember that the number of people gathering at one location is still under ten and it is best to use this from a car or away from others as a precaution.
