Saturday Afternoon Care Fire

Local Fire Departments responded to a car fire on Collins Drive just off Highway 360 in Prince Edward County on Saturday. The caller reported the fire at 3:46 pm. Keysville and Meherrin Volunteer Fire Departments responded. Chief Lynn Duffey of Keysville stated the parked car ignited due to an electrical issue. Duffey stated “It was great team work between the two companies.” No damage was reported other than the vehicle.
