Misgendering and Deadnaming

Written by on March 2, 2023 at 12:20 pm

Twenty-six-year-old James Tubbs in California has confessed to child molesting and has been charged with murder. After being charged Tubbs decided he/she was transgender and wants to be called Hannah.

The bearded Tubbs has been convicted of molesting a 10-year-old girl in a restaurant bathroom stall. He received a light sentence.

Tubbs, who has a long criminal record, has now been charged with murder.

The prosecutor in the case was removed after being accused of misgendering and deadnaming Tubbs. This means he committed the sin of referring to Tubbs by his original gender and name.  Please note neither of these terms are in the dictionary.

The fired prosecutor said Tubbs was “gaming the system.”

If I were the judge, I would sentence Tubbs to the prison which matches his/her genitalia, which should then be removed and sentence him/her to be misgendered and deadnamed for life.

Miscarriage of Justice

Frequently I hear people make gleeful comments especially regarding rapists and child molesters about how they will be molested in prison and that they deserve it.

That is wrong.

No one should ever be subjected to rape in prison or out of prison.

Prison rapists should be charged just like any other rapist.

It is wrong to allow anyone to be raped. It is especially wrong to gleefully anticipate someone being raped in prison.

Even those convicted of heinous crimes do not deserve to be tortured in prison. This is America. We are not supposed to do that.

Equity and Equality

I believe everyone should have equality. Equality means equal opportunity. A level playing field. Everyone has the right to compete.  The outcome is based on YOUR performance.  Equality does not mean “anyone can be President” as we were told in school. Equality means everyone is eligible to be president. Equality is based on YOUR talents, ability, drive and commitment.

In every endeavor we compete. We compete for jobs. We compete for success. We compete in romance. We compete in every field. When there is only one job the winner gets the job. Don’t get side-tracked with the cases where other factors change the outcome. When someone gets a job based on anything except ability the company suffers because they did not hire the best candidate.

In sports, especially professional sports, the best players are selected. The best of the best are in the game. The best team usually wins. This is equality. Equity means equal outcomes.  It isn’t based on anything except some imaginary ideals. Equity means I should have gotten the “most valuable player” award for high school football even though I never tried out for the team, never played and have never caught a football. That is equity.

Equity is stupid.

Equity means every contest should end in a dead heat.  An all-around tie. Every racer crosses the finish line at the same time.

Equality is paying men and women the same money for the same job. Equity is paying everyone the same regardless of ability, hours worked, dedication and results.

Equality is great, equity is stupid.

It is equity to insist it is unfair that women’s sports participants are paid less than men.  Players are paid based on how much money they generate for the company.

In order for women athletes to be paid the same as men, they need to generate the same revenue. That is equality.

Every year thousands of people write books. Those books are not the same. The books that sell the best pay the writer more. Those that flop don’t pay at all.

The important thing is equality. Anyone can write a book. Anyone can try to get it published. No one (in the name of equity) can force anyone to buy it.

Anyone can learn to play a musical instrument. Anyone can form a band. That is equality. Success is based on how much people like the music. Equity would be forcing me to listen to your music. Equity would require me to listen to every song ever written before I can listen to the ones I like again.

I recently learned major league sports have multiple teams and leagues. New players start in a lower-level team which competes with similar teams. The players who stand out progress to higher leagues and they hope to progress to the top. Again equality, they progress as far as their ability allows.

Notice that not one of the people preaching equity is offering to give THEIR JOB to someone who is less qualified in the name of equity.

I suspect that there are many shorter basketball players who are actually better players than the stars.  However, that extra foot of height makes a world of difference in the results.

People pay to attend games to see the stars, so they get paid more.  That is equality.  Equity would be paying every player the same and forcing fans to watch games.

When you hear someone supporting equity, you can bet they don’t have the ability to succeed on their own ability or that they think the group they are supporting is inferior and cannot compete.
