KENBRIDGE – Kenbridge Town Manager Tony Matthews recently offered information for residents following the extension of Executive Orders by Governor Northam.

Order #53 was extended for certain businesses and recreational facilities to remain closed and to continue to practice the 10 or less rule to at least May 8, 2020.

The “Stay at Home” Executive order #55 will remain in effect until June 10th. This order asks citizens to stay at home unless there is an emergency or necessity.

Matthews noted that people should remember that the due date for state taxes to be filed is June 1, 2020.  The due date for federal taxes to be filed is July 15, 2020.

Kenbridge Town Hall will remain closed to the public until at least the May 8th date.  Kenbridge officials stated, “Please continue to contact us 434-676-2452 if you need assistance.  Please continue to pay by mail, pay online, pay by phone, or use the two drop locations we have to get your bills paid.”
