Man Stopped for Speeding, Arrested on Drug Charges

On Sunday, May 10, 2015 a Charlotte County deputy sheriff checked a car by radar traveling 113 miles per hour in a 60 mile an hour zone on Highway 360. The car was stopped off the highway in the Sav-U-Time parking lot.  The driver was Bobby Brown, a 26-year-old male from the Keysville area. The car was searched and approximately four ounces of what was believed to be marijuana was found. Brown was charged with reckless driving and possesion of marijuana with the intent to distribute. Brown was released from custody on a $5000 secure bond.
