The End of an Era

This is a sad day for Lunenburgers.  It was announced this week at Lunenburg Middle School that there will be no football team this year.  There were not enough young men who came out to play middle school football.  For those of us who grew up in Lunenburg and have loved Charger football, we should note this date.  A lot of changes have taken place surrounding football in this county since I was a Charger.  Many coaches have come and gone from recreational league football as well as Charger football.  The one constant, unchanging force behind Lunenburg football for as long as I can remember, at least since 1986, is Al McCrimmon.  It is my opinion, and fear, that without the strong background that Coach McCrimmon and the middle school coaching staff instilled in the players, the legacy that the Charger team has been known for, for so many years, will begin to decline.  I hope that next year and the years after prove this to be a solo incident.  Time will tell.

For now, I would like to acknowledge the many years of hard work and dedication that Al McCrimmon and Eddie Jeter have given to numerous young men, and say thank you for your time, and all that you have done to help prepare our young middle schoolers to become Chargers and winners in life.

Ruling on Clinton Emails a Travesty

It’s been many weeks since Hillary got her “Get out of jail” free card from the FBI and the Justice Dept. Hillary escaped because “Intent” was the “key” that unlocked her cell. In review of the verdict rendered, ….hiding many private servers from government (over-watch) eyes, knowing this action was illegal, publicly saying she sent/received nothing classified (110 were “highly classified”), withholding e mails to be surrendered, taking 2 years to destroy 30,000 (work related) emails and triple washing the server she had before complying to the request to turn over ALL e mail was not considered, “intent”. I think anyone above the age of 5 could look at the aforementioned and conclude without pause that there was (indeed) “intent” along with “mishandling” which Director Comey said are the 2 components needed to prosecute!

Still, Hillary escaped clear patterns of evasion (along with perjury). Comey said any FBI agent who would of acted as Hillary would suffer severe disciplines … but not Hillary! Many years earlier, Director Comey dropped the hammer on Martha Stewart (resulting in her going to prison) because her case was all about “lying” he voiced with indignation! Aside from Loretta Lynch stonewalling in her congressional hearing, Comey too refused to answer if he found e mail evidence related to the Clinton foundation. Witnesses can flicked off Congress like a fly?? The Democratic party calls all of this, “Political Theater”!  More akin to a travesty of justice and disemboweling the rule of law America is founded on!
