Kenbridge to Hold Workday for Proposed Trail

KENBRIDGE – Kenbridge officials have projects listed that they would like to work on and finalize to improve the town and help town residents. Some of the projects include infrastructure work and others include improvements such as a walking trail in and around the town.

Kenbridge Mayor Emory Hodges has been helping spearhead and promote the walking trail project for several years and the group continues to work on this improvement.

There is a workday this weekend for the proposed trail on Saturday, September 7. The trail route is proposed to run from Barnes Street to South Broad Street. Kenbridge officials stated, “Would love to have a crowd come help us clear this trail for all of the town’s walkers and bike riders to enjoy!”
