Janet Marilyn Porter, 79, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth J. Porter; five children; her step-daughter; numerous grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother.
Janet was a retired Registered Nurse of 47 years. Her hobbies included gardening and quilting. Janet was a member at Grace Community Church.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the Grace Community Church, Charlotte County, Va.
Browning-Duffer Funeral Home is serving the family.
