Laughing My Butt Off

Following our article on the dog Buddy, I received a phone call. The caller declined to identify herself except as a “citizen of Charlotte County.” She then asked my name, which I gave. Then she asked for the Editor’s name, which I gave. She then asked for the name of the person who wrote the article on Buddy.  I told her that article didn’t have a byline and that I am responsible for every article in The Messenger. She insisted I give her the name and accused me of not answering her. I explained that what I was saying was, “It is none of your business.”

She continued to insist I give her the writer’s name. I asked her again for HER name and she hung up.

BITCH Test

Almost half a century ago when I was in college, we were given The Bitch Test in a sociology class. That is The Black Intelligence Test for Cultural Homogeneity.

The point of the test was that Blacks had a different cultural heritage and could not be expected to do as well as Whites on a Standard IQ test. I found that insulting to Blacks.

Some of the questions were, “Who did Stagger Lee kill?  What is an alley apple? And when is Mother’s Day?

The professor graded the tests and announced, while looking at the only Black girl in the class, “that only Miss Jones had passed.”  It turned out that I was “Miss Jones.” Although not Black I had recently read several dozen books written by Blacks on the “Black Inner City experience” and had aced the test.

My point, which wasn’t well received by the professor, was that The BITCH Test didn’t test for national Cultural Homogeneity and that there were Blacks who had scored higher on standard IQ tests than anyone in our class.

They are still trying to push the same agenda that Blacks can’t compete with Whites on a level playing field. They are as wrong now as they were then.

By the way, Stagger Lee shot Billy, an alley apple is a brick and Mother’s Day is the day the Welfare Checks come out.

All of this is as insulting to Blacks as saying they can’t be expected to do as well at math and reading as White kids, which by the way, was the reason the Democrats opposed integrating our schools.

Slavery

The Supreme Court ruled 6–3 in favor of a Christian website designer who said Colorado’s law requiring her to create websites to celebrate same-sex weddings infringed on her constitutional rights.

Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote the majority opinion (pdf) in 303 Creative LLC v. Elenis (court file 21-476) which was decided June 30. The opinion was joined by Chief Justice John Roberts, along with Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett.

The three liberal justices dissented. President Joe Biden called the new decision “disappointing.”

Isn’t forcing someone to work for you against their will called slavery?

Reuters just completed a study that documented that every currently living U.S. president except one has ancestors who owned slaves in America.  I can’t argue with that. I once read that “Every person on earth has at least one ancestor that was a slave and at least one that was a King.”

The one exception, according to Reuters, is Donald Trump, whose ancestors came to America after Slavery ended.

Impeaching

Supreme Court Justices

Following the recent Supreme Court’s ruling on multiple issues, the Leftists are up in arms. They want to “Impeach Justices” “Pack the Court” and do all sorts of other things because the rulings didn’t meet their ideology.

They need to read our Constitution.

America was designed with “Checks and Balances.”

For those who have forgotten, we have three branches of Government: Legislative, Judicial and Executive. This ensures that no individual or group will have too much power.

What just happened is the Judicial Branch just prevented an overreach of the power of the Executive Branch.

Anytime the Judicial Branch attempts to usurp the power of the Executive and Legislative Branches they have exceeded their authority. Student Loan forgiveness can be passed by Congress and signed by the President and there is nothing the Judicial Branch can or should do.

However, the Court didn’t say there couldn’t be Student Loan forgiveness, just that the President, since he is not a dictator, does not have the authority to do so without congressional approval.

How can anyone have a problem with that?
