God Is The Prime Reality

logo-hevenerToday in many cultures of the world, especially in so-called “advanced” cultures, the truth of moral absolutes is being rejected by many in favor of the false theory that each individual is free to act as he chooses.  A current example of “right you are if you think you are,” in the U.S. is the heated debate over whether or not a male may use a female bathroom or locker room if he chooses to do so.

Of course, the ultimate absolute is the Creator, God.  It is He who determines what is morally right and wrong.  However, modern man has moved toward the concept that man, not God, is the highest intellectual being in the universe; therefore, man should determine what is “right” and “wrong.” According to the skeptic and atheist, there is no ultimate Power and no ultimate Authority. This eroneous position opens the door to materialism and self-glorification of the individual, who, himself, determines if he will follow God’s moral standards or flaunt  these, in favor of egotism, confusion, and, ultimately, moral chaos and societal implosion.

The thinker knows from experiencing life that he, life, and the universe were designed and created by a Power far beyond evolutionary chance, an infantile theory at best.  The Creator of the Bible, God, is man’s source of existence, and it is by Him that man shall be judged.

Yes, God is the Prime reality, and He shall judge man. That man will be judged by his Creator is clearly taught in Scripture:

Isaiah 33:22. For the LORD is our judge, The LORD is our lawgiver, The LORD is our king; He will save us–

Isaiah 66:16. For the LORD will execute judgment by fire and by His sword on all flesh, And those slain by the LORD will be many.

2 Timothy 4:8. … there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

D. James 2:11-13.  11For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” If you do not commit adultery, but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker. 12Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the Law that gives freedom. 13For judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment.…

James is here quoting from the Ten Commandments found in Exodus 20. Therefore, on judgment day, man will be judged by his Creator, and the standard to be used in the judging process will be the Commandments of God.

Many people of the world hate God and His writings.  They don’t want anything to do with Him, and they want to restrict others from honoring Him.   OneNewsNow.com reports that “A high school in Ohio has been threatened by an atheist organization over a 70-year tradition of singing songs by Mozart and Handel at graduation ceremonies because of their religious content. For 70 years, choirs at East Liverpool High School in the Buckeye State have been classical songs, including Mozart’s Requiem Mass and Handel’s Messiah at their graduation ceremonies. But the school’s performance including the songs at last year’s commencement may be its last. The “Freedom From Religion Foundation sent a threatening letter to the school board demanding that the songs’ performances at graduation ceremonies must be stopped.”  Some people may try to ignore God, but the truth of God’ reality will never go away; it will never be destroyed.  God’s word is truth.  In the following passage, Jesus is speaking: 16They (His followers) are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth. 18As You sent Me into the world, I have also sent them into the world.…  John 12: 16,17.

The naturalism of Darwinian evolution, the fantasy of much of Freudian psychology, and the pragmatism of Horace Mann and John Dewey, cannot erase the prime reality of God, the Creator, the  eternal Designer, and His plan of salvation being offered to sinful man, through His Son, Jesus Christ, who demonstrated His power over death by rising from the grave.

Luke 24 records: Now on the first day of the week, at daybreak, the women came to the tomb, carrying the spices they had prepared. 2 They found the stone had been rolled away from the tomb; 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Yeshua.4 And while they were perplexed about this, suddenly two men in dazzling clothes stood beside them. 5 The women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you search for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but He is risen! Remember what He told you when He was still in the Galilee, 7 saying that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be executed, and on the third day rise up.”

Yes, God, the Prime Reality, is the God of order, peace, and eternal life. Trust your everlasting future to Him!
