FCA Offers Opportunity for Notes to Brighten the Day

LUNENBURG – The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) group made up of Lunenburg County students has put together a challenge to help brighten the day for some elderly neighbors and relatives.

The group is writing a card, letter, or note to an elderly neighbor or relative. Organizers stated, “In hopes of helping you complete this challenge we’ve made a drop off box and placed it inside the side door at the Kenbridge Town Hall. We’re going to leave the box there for a few weeks- we’re hoping that today’s challenge will continue to inspire you for the days and weeks to come.”

Organizers will check the box and collect the letters to send off. In addition to that, if anyone would like to write to the residents of Heritage Hall, please just drop your letter in the box. The Town Hall doors are open 9 a.m. -5 p.m. Monday-Friday so you can drop it off.

The group says that “Any and all cards are welcome from people in the community!”
