Farmville PD Investigating Shots Fired on Hylawn Avenue

FARMVILLE – The Farmville Police Department is investigating a shots fired incident that occurred in the parking lot of the Meadows Apartments Monday afternoon. At approximately 2:50 p.m. officers were alerted to a report of multiple shots fired in the apartment complex parking lot. One witness stated there was a black pickup truck that was leaving the complex shortly after the shots were fired. At this time, no victims have been found, although property at the apartment complex had been damaged.

Efforts continue to investigate the matter.
