Farmville Celebrates Employee for 43 Years of Service

FARMVILLE – The Town of Farmville recently announced the retirement of a long-time employee and celebrated his service to the locality.

Farmville officials stated, “After 43 years of service, Ernie Hurt has retired from the Town of Farmville Public Works Department. He was celebrated at a luncheon with his co-workers and family. We are sure his wife, Josephine, has plenty of ‘honey do’ projects planned out for his retirement. We will miss you very much, Ernie!”
