Eagles Swim Wraps Up Successful Regular Season

FARMVILLE – The Prince Edward County Eagles swim team recently wrapped up the regular season with strong records and performances. 

The boy’s team finished the year with a 7-11 overall record against mostly schools that are larger than the Eagles’. Prince Edward is the only James River District team with a swim team and so they must compete outside the district in all of their contests. The only team they competed against that was smaller than the Division 2 Eagles was Altavista.

The Lady Eagles swim team was extremely impressive with a 13-2-3 overall record and many impressive wins throughout the year.

The Regional meet is listed as starting on February 13.
