Eagles Fall Versus Country’s Top Team

FARMVILLE – The Prince Edward County Eagles Boys Basketball team advanced in Regional play after beating Amelia in the opening round and they faced off against the top high school basketball team in the country in the John Marshall Justices. 

The quarterfinal game was dominated by the Justices as they have beaten any team they have faced all season. John Marshall held an 80-21 halftime lead and went on to a 124-41 victory. The Justices easily won the region as well, beating the rest of the teams they faced by similar scores. Their team is full of Division One basketball recruits in a 2A public school.
