Eagles Dominate Bluestone in Homecoming Game

FARMVILLE – Friday night was a big night at Prince Edward High School as they crowned SaRoya Walton and Isaih Dailey as the 2019 Homecoming King and Queen while also watching their Eagles football team dominate Bluestone in a 50-6 victory.

This game was close early on as the Eagles jumped out to a 14-6 lead in the first half, but neither team could muster any additional offense before halftime and the teams went to the break with the score remaining the same.

The halftime speech must have been a good one for the Eagles as they came out and scored first in the second half and never stopped until the end. An Eagles interception and touchdown with one minute to go in the third quarter put them ahead 28-6.

The Eagles turned two more Bluestone turnovers, a fumble and interception, to add two more quick scores and cruise to a blowout win.

The Eagles have a tough task this Friday night as they travel to Buckingham for a 7 p.m. game.
