CHS Golf Keeps Rolling
Written by Staff on September 5, 2019 at 10:45 amSOUTHSIDE – The Central Golf Team continued a strong run this season with several recent wins against Bluestone, Nottoway, Prince Edward and Amelia.
The Chargers beat Bluestone by a 175 – 211 sore and Nottoway by a 175 – 194 margin. They took on Prince Edward County last week and got the 166 – 211 victory while handling Amelia in a 166 – 204 score.
The team will take on Buckingham and Amelia this week before a huge match against Buckingham and Randolph-Henry next week. Lunenburg and R-H both have one district loss to each other so this match will determine the regular season champion.
