Central High JV Chargers One Win Away from JRD Title

VICTORIA – The Central Chargers JV Football team travels to Goochland this week in an attempt to beat the Bulldogs and claim the James River District Championship.

Central dominated Nottoway last week in a 24-0 shutout that was never close and this moved their record to 7-1 on the season and into first place in the district.

The Chargers are 6-0 in the district and will face the 5-1 Goochland squad with an outright district title on the line.

The only blemish on their record this season is a 32-18 loss to non-district opponent, Brunswick.
