Why Aren’t We Laughing?

Ultra Liberal   Cenk Uygur  was an outspoken supporter of unions UNTIL his 80 employees decided to unionize.  Now he is explaining why a union is inappropriate in HIS situation.  The illogic of the situation should have all of us rolling on the floor laughing. 

We have Bernie, a Socialist millionaire with three homes preaching socialism and sharing the wealth.  The illogic of the situation should have all of us rolling on the floor laughing. 

Virginia has an Attorney General who has twice been accused of rape.  His defenders are some of the same people who said Bret Kavanagh wasn’t suitable for the Supreme Court because he was accused of “trying to remove a girl’s blouse” and for “laughing at her.” 

We have people defending Weinstein and Epstein (both serial rapists) claiming “that was acceptable at the time.”

We have members of state and local government who claim to represent “the people” but have become millionaires while doing so. 

We have entitled privileged students at prestigious universities who have never accomplished anything, lecturing the rest of us on what is wrong with society but are unwilling to give up THEIR privilege. 

We have people shouting for free college and free health care but who don’t seem to understand that anything that is free but in limited supply always has shortages. 

We have people like Jesse Smollett who falsely report a hate crime but are not charged. 

We have reporters who offered outraged reports of Smollett’s lies but were not outraged when the facts proved he was the one guilty of a hate crime. 

Maybe we aren’t laughing because we should be crying.
