VOICE OF DEMOCRACY ESSAY CONTEST WINNER

Central High School student Peyton Craven was recently announced as the winner of the 2020 VFW Voice of Democracy Essay Contest. Craven was selected as the winner of the Voice of Democracy essay for our local VFW post. As the winner of this prestigious contest she received a check for $100.00 and was able to participate in the regional level of competition. Lunenburg County Public Schools officials stated, “We are very proud of her accomplishment.” She is pictured with LCPS Director of Curriculum & Instruction Dawn Bacon and Central High School Principal Patricia Clary.
