VFW Post 9954 Veteran’s Day Celebration

VICTORIA – VFW Post 9954 in Lunenburg County recently completed a 30’ x 50’ expansion of their headquarters in Victoria and hosted a celebration event to honor Veteran’s Day.
A large group of visitors showed up to help the local organization honor the men and women of the United States Military.
The group offered drinks and refreshments to visitors who were there and also showed off the expanded headquarters for the VFW members and VFW Auxiliary to conduct meetings and events.
Veterans Day is a “thank you” to all military personnel who served the United States in all wars, particularly living veterans. It is marked by parades and events such as the one held at VFW Post 9954.
