Trashing Cancer

They along with other “TPAC” (Trucker’s Parade Against Cancer) members Ginny Elder, Tom Hale, and Jimmy Green picked up over 30 bags of litter this past Saturday, March 21st. There were many others out also trying to improve the appearance of Charlotte County’s roadsides and playing for the chance at $1000.00! 

In case you haven’t heard, you can register as an individual or group for a chance at winning  $1000.00 for a charitable cause. TPAC is working for the American Cancer Society. Other groups are working for a variety of other causes. You, as an individual, can also “donate” a bag of litter to a cause of your choosing. The contest ends April 4, 2015 so there’s still time!
