“The Bard” Comes to CCH: R-H to perform Shakespeare

On Friday, Feb. 20, Randolph-Henry Theatre will perform what has been called “one of the world’s most popular shows,” The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged).  This comedy includes humorous parodies of all of Shakespeare’s plays and is performed at a madcap pace, finishing all plays in under two hours.

The show stars Adam Balmer, Will Foster, Nick Ketchum, and Deontae Waller, all members of this year’s theatre team that placed at the VHSL State Theatre Championship.  Since the show is a parody of Shakespeare, it borrows heavily from Shakespeare’s comedic techniques and uses puns, innuendoes, and physical humor.  As a result, this show is rated PG-13.

The play will be performed at the Randolph-Henry auditorium for one night only: Friday, Feb. 20, at 7:30.  Tickets are only $5 and are available at the door.
