Task Force Searching for Red Oak Man

MECKLENBURG – Southside Drug and Gang Task Force and authorities at the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office turned up drugs valued at more than $11,000 following the raid of a Red Oak residence.

This raid took place in early March when Task Force members executed a search warrant at the residence of Darnell Jeffress in Red Oak. The search warrant netted the task force approximately 8 grams of heroin with a street value of $2,000, 118 grams of marijuana valued at $2,360, 64 grams of crack cocaine valued at $6,400, and 40 oxycodone pills valued at $400. Charges have been filed on Jeffress for possession with intent to distribute.

According to reports, Jeffress was not at home at the time.
