Statesmen Still Searching for First Win After Loss to Goochland

CHARLOTTE COURT HOUSE – The Randolph Henry Statesmen began Friday night’s game against the Goochland Bulldogs in the hunt for their first season win.  Facing one of the strongest teams on their schedule, Randolph Henry needed strong play throughout all 4 quarters to stay in contention.

With a final score of 6 – 48, the Statesmen narrowly escaped being shutout by the Bulldogs on offense.  Tyrie Blow scored Randolph Henry’s only touchdown off of a short running play with 5:18 left in the 3rd quarter.  The Statesmen head to Amelia to take on the Amelia Raiders on Friday, 9/30 @ 7:00pm.
