VICTORIA – The Central Chargers Soccer team came into 2020 with hopes of performing well in the James River District and making the playoffs. The team featured a young group, but was set to rely heavily on a pair of seniors.
Khalil Wood was the heart of the Chargers defense. He played the center back position in a diamond defensive formation and was last line of defense. Hunter Meade was a starting striker and leading scorer for the team over the past two seasons.
The team had six juniors on the squad, five sophomores and seven freshman. Team members included:
