Special Pre-Debate Clean-Up Day

The Town of Farmville will be having a special clean-up day on Monday, September 19 for all in-town residents in order to prepare for the Vice Presidential Debate. The clean-up campaign provides pickup of items not approved for normal pickup such as: furniture, appliances, carpet, bedding and building materials. All loose items to be collected must be in containers that can be thrown away. Residents are asked to have all items at the curbside by 7:30 a.m. on the day of the clean-up. All items collected during the clean-up campaign become the property of the Town of Farmville, who is thereby responsible for proper disposal.  For more information, visit the town’s website, www.farmvilleva.com.
