Randolph-Henry’s Yearbook Earns Recognition

The Randolph-Henry High School’s 2013 yearbook has won a first place rating from VHSL, a first place from the National Scholastic Press Association and a silver medal from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.

yearbook awardsIt has also been recognized for excellence and featured in the 2014 Jostens Look Book, celebrating the best-of-the-best in yearbook design and coverage. This is the third year in a row the R-H book has been recognized.

The 2013 booked titled “Ties That Bind” was created by Secily Baker, Beth Baldwin, Taylor Conwell, Grace Barry, Morgan Card, Noah Davis, Emily Colombo, Brianna Dunn, Jessica Ferguson, Alexis Gee, Christina Jackson, Nicole Jones, Justin Lacks, Anna LeFevers, Emily Lewis, Sara Masi, Samantha Pannell, Megan Pippen, Erin Pyle, Ally Roberts, Amber Shelton, Slade Simpson, Sabrina Walker, Thomas Walsh, Cathryn Wood, and Lindsey Zumbro, under the direction of Mrs. Claudia McMillan.

The Jostens Look Book is a collection of spreads and photos from outstanding yearbooks and their creative themes, cool covers, dazzling designs, relevant coverage, storytelling copy and action-packed photography. Along with design excellence, the annually published Look Book honors the important role well-crafted yearbooks.

The R-H yearbook was one of only 426 yearbooks selected from approximately 3,000. The Log was one out of ten to be featured for the cover and end sheet (inside cover) design.
