Patricia Wilmoth Roberts Cook Obituary

Patricia Wilmoth Roberts Cook, 71 of Madison Heights, Va. passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021.  She was the wife of Gary Bruce Cook.

She was born on March 17, 1950 in Halifax County, Va., daughter of the late William and Eva Wilmoth of Drakes Branch, Va.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Woodrow Wilmoth of Chase City, Va. and one nephew, Phillip Wilmoth of Red Oak, Va.

Patricia was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Madison Heights, Va.  She enjoyed the beach and yard selling with her husband, Bruce.  She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Patricia is survived by one sister, Barbara Wilmoth Newcomb (Mike) of Drakes Branch, Va.; one nephew, Josh Newcomb (Alyssa); a great nephew, Camren, and a great-niece, Annalee, all of Drakes Branch, Va.; one niece, Tammy Webber (Phil), a great-nephew, Dillon, of Drakes Branch; an uncle, Frank Benton (Lois) of Boise, Idaho; two stepdaughters, Jamie Goff (Seth), step-grandchildren, Alona and Noah of Big Island, Va., Kara Cook of Madison Heights; two sisters-in-law, Rachel Wilmoth of Chase City, Va. and Brenda Burns of Shipman, Va. 

A graveside service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 2, 2021 at Briarwood Memorial Gardens, 1823 S Amherst Hwy, Amherst, VA 24521 with Pastor Dr. Dan Reichard officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 2768 S. Amherst Highway, Madison Heights, VA 24572.
