CHARLOTTE COURT HOUSE – Village Drive In in Charlotte Court House is leading the way in working to provide a Halloween Party for individuals who are attending APEX.
APEX, located in Charlotte Court House, is an organization that provides day support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
According to Carol Hunt who works at Village Drive In, APEX has lost funding that would otherwise help with the Halloween party and other activities provided.
Currently, Village Drive In is seeking donations, both monetary and food, as well as healthy treats to help provide the 15 adults with a party.
“If this goes well we want to help with the Christmas Party, too,” explained Hunt.
Already, several businesses in both Charlotte Court House and Keysville have helped with donations as well as customers who come into Village Drive In.
For more information on how to help with donations for the Halloween Party that will be held on October 31 contact Carol Hunt at the Village Drive In at 434- 542-4530.
