No Injuries Reported in Monday Accident

Trooper Derrick A. Thompson of the Virginia State Police responded to a Monday morning wreck on Highway 15 North at the intersection of Route 654 in Charlotte County. According to a report from Trooper Thompson, Holly Cook of Farmville, who was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe, was slowing down for a vehicle that was turning onto Cabbage Patch Road when Asia Saez of Pamplin, who was driving a 1999 Nissan Altima, hit the rear end of her vehicle. Cook’s vehicle sustained approximately $1,000 in damage, while the vehicle driven by Saez sustained approximately $2,500 in damage. Saez was charged with following too closely. There were no injuries in the 10:40 a.m. wreck.
