No Injuries Reported in Farmville Fire 

On Thursday, January 15, fire departments from Farmville, Hampden-Sydney and Rice responded to a structure fire at 502 Landon St. in Farmville.

Units were dispatched at approximately 11:52 a.m. and Farmville Engine 1-1 arrived on scene to find heavy smoke billowing from a mobile home.  Crew members from Farmville Engine 1-1 responded with quick action by initiating an aggressive interior attack, knocking down the fire.

No injuries were reported in the incident.  Cause of the fire was determined to be a faulty electrical outlet.
