My Country Tis of Thee!

Prince Edward County Elementary School Kindergarten students recently completed a Social Studies unit on America.  Students learned symbols, songs, and holidays that represent the United States.  In addition, they learned the Pledge of Allegiance, leaders of our country, and many other aspects of what it means to be an American. As a culminating celebration, the kindergarten classes decorated their hallway with symbols of the United States of America.
