For the past ten years it has been my pleasure to be responsible for the publication of The Southside Messenger. The real secret to the success of the Messenger is the minions. The Messenger minions are dedicated to providing you with the latest in local news and entertainment AND they enjoy what they do.

Earlier this year, they showed up dressed in yellow shirts and ordained “Minion Mondays.” Then they declared March was Messenger Minion Madness Month.

My job is easy. I let the minions have fun. I drink some coffee, talk on the phone and occasionally write an alternative headline. They do the rest.
