Local Teen Found Safe

After Being Reported Missing Over the Weekend

LUNENBURG – A local teen that was reportedly missing since Friday, November 18 was located, according to the Lunenburg County Sheriff’s Office.

Facebook posts began to circulate on Saturday asking for help in finding Lunenburg resident Alexia Wilson, who was reportedly missing since 8 p.m. on Friday night.

The Lunenburg County Sheriff’s Office issued an official release seeking assistance in locating the 15-year-old missing juvenile who was last seen wearing dark grey sweat pants, grey high top shoes, and a purple charger sweatshirt.

Following a search throughout the area by the Lunenburg Sheriff’s Office, Victoria Police Department and Virginia State Police, and reports from people, the teen was located on Sunday night by authorities and was found unharmed.

Lunenburg County Sheriff’s Office officials stated, “Alexia Wilson has been located and is safe. We would like to thank everyone for their help.”
