LMS Boys Leading District After Wins Over Charlotte, Cumberland

The Lunenburg Middle School Basketball teams find themselves at the top of the district standings with the boys team currently 6-1 overall and the girls 4-2 after a win over Central Charlotte.

The LMS Boy’s team defeated Central Middle School 52-42 recently. Moewuante Morrison scored 26 points while adding 4 steals on the night.  Darion jones  had 6 points while Khalil Wood scored 6 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and added 3 steals. LMS also defeated Cumberland by a 39-20 score on Thursday night.

Rounding out the scoring for LMS was Davion Taylor (5 pts. 5 steals), Maureon Tisdale Couch (4 pts. 3 steals), T’zion Wilkerson (3 pts.), and Shamond Sellers (2 pts. 6 rebounds).
