Linda Joyce Anderson Thompson, 63

Linda Joyce Anderson Thompson passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the age of 63.  Mrs. Thompson was born on August 7, 1950 in Seymour, CT to the late Arthur Henry Anderson, Jr. and Ruby Mullins Anderson and was married to Bruce Steven Thompson, Sr. She was a banker early in her adult life.  Mrs. Thompson was a dedicated wife, mother and friend.  She was a kind, tenderhearted, loving person and she will be greatly missed.  She is survived by her husband, Bruce Steven Thompson, Sr.; her mother, Ruby Mullins Anderson; children, Bruce S. Thompson, Jr., Allene Thompson, Pamela T. Toombs, Kathryn T. Griffith, Genevieve Thompson; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Arthur Anderson, Nils Anderson, Stephen Anderson, Robert Anderson, Jodie Giragosian, Richard Anderson, Gary Anderson, Donna Fritz, Matthew Anderson, Charles Andereson, and Ruby Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.  A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.  Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.wclfh.com.
