Keysville Woman Involved in Bank Heist

On April 25, 2014 at 9:58am the Bank of Southside Virginia located in the 26000 block of Cox Road, North Dinwiddie, VA was robbed. Two females entered the bank and one female gave the teller a note demanding money. The women made off with an undisclosed amount of currency. No weapon was displayed. Dinwiddie County Sheriff’s Office deputies and investigators located the two suspects at approximately 12:00 noon at the Flagship Inn on Crater Road in the City of Petersburg where they were taken into custody without incident.

Tina K. Brown, 39 years old of the 1300 block of Tidewater Road, Keysville, VA and Veneta R. Weeks, 54 years old of the 900 block of West Washington Street, Petersburg, VA have both been charged with one count of robbery. Both women are being held without bond at Meherrin River Regional Jain in Alberta, VA pending an arraignment in Dinwiddie County General District Court on Monday April 28, 2014.
