Kenbridge residents now have the option to pay bills easily through an online bill pay link that the town has set up on their website.

Town officials noted that they hoped to have the online option available by the beginning of May and Kenbridge Town Manager Robyn Fowler said that the site actually went operational on May 5.

Town officials stated, “The Town of Kenbridge is excited to offer residents an easy and convenient method to pay their real estate, personal property tax, water, sewer and garbage utility bills online.”

Mrs. Fowler said that water, utility and tax bills can be paid online now. Residents need to know their account numbers when they make an online payment as that information cannot be looked up on the website. The town currently takes Visa and MasterCard through this online payment method and the link can be found on: www.kenbridgeva.net

This is a fee-based service where real estate and personal property tax payments do have a service fee of 2.95% with a minimum of $2.95 that will be applied to all credit card payments.  A flat fee of $2.95 will be applied to all e-check transactions.

There is also a $2.95 fee for water, sewer, and garbage utility bill payments. The payment options are designed for fast and easy access for town customers and it is a secure site that keeps information confidential, secure, and backed by the highest security standards.
