Drakes Branch Man Arrested for B&E

DRAKES BRANCH – Alexander J. Friend, 33, of Drakes Branch, has been arrested and charged with breaking and entering and grand larceny. According to the Charlotte County Sheriffs Department, Friend allegedly committed the crime in the Drakes Branch area. The Sheriff’s Department did not divulge whether the breaking and entering was that of a home or business. Friend allegedly stole several power tools and change. He is currently being
