She was second of five siblings.  Born May 19, 1923, to the late Herndon and Alma Jenkins of Amelia.  She worked in a bank in Richmond until, on May 14, 1949, she became the bride of our father, Marshall Atkins Tucker and they resided in our Daddy’s hometown, Drakes Branch, Virginia.  To this union were born two children who survive her, Deborah Kennedy and Linda Varner (husband Dr. Lawrence Callie Varner). Her prodigy include four grandchildren, Lydia, Thomas, Joseph and John-Marshall.  She was also blessed with and able to see five great- grandchildren and number six is on the way. She also had many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister Grace Seither of Richmond, Va.   She was preceded in death by her beloved brother Larry Jenkins Jr., Nancy Webber and Mildred Bass, all of Richmond. While residing in Drakes Branch she worked in the Bank of Charlotte County as it went through all the mergers until it closed. She retired from Stanley Land Lumber Co. and was an active member and treasurer of Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Charlotte County H.A. Carrington Chapter 1055 UDC. She was so dedicated to us, our family and her church.
