CHARLOTTE COURT HOUSE – Almost every Monday night since April 2017 the Charlotte Court House Planning Commission has met to continue working to prepare an updated zoning map, as well as new zoning and subdivision ordinances. The most recent zoning ordinances for the town heretofore were compiled in 1986.

Members of the Commission are Terry Ramsey, Chairman, Nemiah Braxton, Andy Carwile, Bobby Howard, Claudia Koch and David Watkins, Jr. Meeting dates and times are posted on the bulletin board in front of the Town Office.

The Planning Commission meetings are open to the public; anyone wishing to speak should contact the Town Office and request to be placed on the agenda during a public comment period. The next meeting will be Monday, May 14 at 5:00 p.m. at the Town Office. In attendance at that meeting will be Robert Hendrick, Zoning Administrator for Charlotte Court House and Mecklenburg County.
