CHS Art Calendar Released in Time for Christmas

VICTORIA – As many people search for different ideas for gifts during the Christmas holidays, the Central High School Art Calendar is here just in time.

This 24th edition of the calendar brings to life some of the artwork of the talented local students, while providing a gift that can be used during the entire 2016 year.

CHS Art teacher June Kunath has helped organize and display many great works for this calendar with a wide range of subjects.

Featured in this year’s calendar are the following images: OLO Farms by MeriAgnes Dalton; Coach Chappell After a 1980 Win by Kamren Field; Mildred Pond by Jonathan Clarke; Kathy Kirby’s Mom With Her Nanny by Ashley Genova; Train Car by Sara Wilson; My Grandparent’s Home by Luke Puleo; Green Cove Farm by Tiona Brown; My Family in 1960 by Marcus Reed; My Neighbor’s Goats by Morgan Hall; Bechellbonn by Olivia Major; Train Yard From the Bridge by Brittany Maund; Meherrin Train Station by Madison King;  Family From the 1800’s by Drew Kennedy; Estes Truck Driver by Ariel Crawley and Virginia Marble by Dayshawna Alexander.

The calendars are available at the Victoria Public Library, Ripberger Public Library in Kenbridge and the Central High School office for $5.00 with all proceeds going to the CHS Art Department.
