Charlotte County Spelling Bee Winners Announced

The Charlotte County Spelling Bee was held on January 18, 2017.  The participants from Bacon District were Kaleb Fallen and Jaylan Gordon.  Tori Badeaux and Cheyenne Stembridge represented Central Middle School.  The participants from Eureka were Ethan Hanks and Madeline Clatterbuck .  Dani Davis, Summer Jones and Landon Driskill and represented Phenix Elementary School. The judges for the spelling bee were Kate Davis, Charlene Whitehead and Sharon Hall. After several rounds of intense competition, Landon Driskill was declared runner-up and Madeline Clatterbuck was announced as the spelling bee champion. Madeline will now move on to represent Charlotte County at the regional spelling bee in Richmond. Congratulations to all of the participants for a job well done!
