Chargers Young Golf Squad Takes Win Over Cumberland

LUNENBURG – The Central High School golf team is a young group with just one upperclassmen on the roster, but they continue to play well early on this season.

The team recently beat Cumberland in a three school match that included Randolph-Henry. The final team scores were Randolph-Henry 165, Central 197, Cumberland 223. Cole Williams was low scorer with a 140.

Coach Tom Hoefer leads the Chargers team again this year. The team members include, front row (L-R) Thomas McDaniel, Cole Williams, Cary Parrish; back row (L-R)  Joseph McDaniel and Mason Elliot.
